TangoSquared is looking for a motivated, enthusiastic, and detail-oriented Senior Software Engineer.

Full Job Description:

As a Senior Software Engineer at TangoSquared you will produce and implement functional software solutions. You will work with upper management to define software requirements and take the lead on operational and technical projects while managing projects with our development partners.

The ideal candidate will communicate in both English and Ukrainian languages.

In this role, you should be able to work independently with little supervision.

You should have excellent organization and problem-solving skills.  Your goal will be to develop high-quality software and ensure we deliver effective solutions that are aligned with user needs and business goals.

This is a full-time position. We work in office, but have flexibility for remote work.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and co-manage projects with development partners
  • Lead and mentor junior developers
  • Develop high-quality software design and architecture
  • Identify, prioritize and execute tasks in the software development life cycle
  • Develop tools and applications by producing clean, efficient code
  • Automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting
  • Review and debug code
  • Perform validation and verification testing
  • Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to fix and improve products
  • Document development phases and monitor systems
  • Ensure software is up to date with latest technologies

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer
  • Extensive experience in software development, scripting and project management
  • Experience using system monitoring tools (e.g. New Relic) and automated testing frameworks
  • working knowledge of modern programming languages
  • In-depth knowledge of modern database technologies
  • Familiarity with various operating systems (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, Linux, Mac OS, Windows)
  • Analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude
  • Ability to work independently
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • BSc/BA in Computer Science or a related degree or equivalent experience
